In a truly fantastic turn of events last Friday… the amazing Matt Damon (if I have to list his movies for you then you can’t visit this site anymore) did something that I don’t think has ever been done before. He hijacked a late night talk show. Namely… the late night talk show that has bumped him 1,205 times… Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel!!! For me to try and explain this truly inspired event is stupid… when I have video! Check out this opener to get the full idea:

Yeah… right! Awesome! I’m a big fan of Jimmy and think he’s finally doing things in late night that are making it cool again (and poor Conan tried to do too). His kind of comedy is the stuff real laughs are made from. To see an event like this take place… well, it just makes me smile thinking about it. Makes you wish you could be in their inner-circle just to share in the pure joy something like this must have been to conceive and carry through.
