According to rumors all over the internet (and we always trust what’s reported on the internet) the Mighty Van Halen have finished their first recordings with the original lead singer since 1984.  It’s also the bands first studio album since 1998 when everyone’s favorite CD, best used for a coaster, “Van Halen III” was released.  Van Halen was to headline September’s Soundwave Revolution festival in Australia where they would debut their new songs.  The festival was mysteriously cancelled and now speculation has Van Halen’s tour and new record with Roth coming out sometime in 2012.  Get those brown M&M’s ready!!
