The Oscar Nominations were announced this morning. The Kings Speech took in 13 nominations, leading all films. While True Grit gathered 10.
As expected Natalie Portman & Michelle Williams garnered nominations for their work in Black Swan and Blue Valentine respectively. Portman is coming off a Golden Globe win for her role in Black Swan, and is likely the leader in the clubhouse for the award. Inception gathered numerous nominations, including Best Picture. But director Christopher Nolan was snubbed in the Best Director category for his work on the film.
