As I mentioned before… you may not be a huge American Idol viewer, however… not only is it the number #1 program on all of television, it is now teaming up with one of the best rockers of our generation.  (Debatable statement… maybe, but this cat can rock!).

Sources to The Hollywood Reporter state that Steven Tyler, front-man for Aerosmith, has inked his deal with American Idol to be one of the new judges for their massive re-launch.  We all know Mr. Tyler has the presence needed to create some great wow-factor… but I’m curious to see how he is at being subjective and all coachie.  I, for one, am looking forward to it.

Needless to say, the recent news-buzz about who will or who won’t be a judge on AI has changed more frequently than Andy Dick’s sexual orientation… but it’s getting down to the nitty-gritty with judging on their multi-city tour starting in just a few weeks.  Last year’s Idol was a bit of a flop for me personally, so I’m hoping they spice it up a bit this go-round.
