Here is a look at what is hitting the big screen (and our small screen) this weekend.
My Soul to Take: Wes Craven and a scary movie? What could be better? Seven friends fight evil forces that swore it would return to get them. Their only offense, it appears being born on the night it died. And I’m sure for being teens. You can also catch this one in 3D.
Life as We Know It: Katherine Heigl again plays the girl who no one wants to date (yeah right) and Josh Duhamel assumes his role as the leading man in this romantic comedy about two people who are forced to care for the orphaned child of their mutual friends. Poop flies, and of course love blossoms.
Secretariat: Wait, I’ve seen this movie. It was called Seabiscuit. Ahh, but everyone loves a good sports movie! But then again, is this really a sport? Just because they cover it on ESPN, doesn’t make it a sport. Anyway, everyone gets behind the horse and against all odds it wins the triple crown. See, we saved you eight dollars.
Here’s what we are watching via Netflix this week.
Eggshellwhite:
Dexter, Season 3, Disc One: Oh yes, love this show and can’t wait to get caught up on it.
Leap Year: Amy Adams experiences hijinks as she decides to propose on February 29th. Oh the shenanigans.
WhiteGlossy:
Repo Men: Jude Law, Forest Whitaker… fighting, killing, badass moves, new technology, organs being tossed around all crazy like. Can’t wait.
The Bounty Hunter: Sexy Jennifer Aniston, sexy Gerard Butler (what?… he is)… hijinks ensue, I’m hoping for partial nudity. Either way, sexy Jennifer Aniston and sexy Gerard Butler.
