Amazon is now expanding their trade in program to now include tablets, cell phones, MP3 players, cameras, GPS devices and more. Previously you could trade in video games, textbooks, and DVD’s under the program. Now you can trade in anything that you are wanting to get rid of for Amazon.com gift cards. Not a bad way to offset the costs of upgrading to the newest and greatest stuff right?
“Technology is constantly evolving and newer, better versions of consumer electronics are introduced all the time,” says Paul Ryder, vice president of Electronics for Amazon.com. “We want to give customers the opportunity to get great value from their used electronics. Hundreds of thousands of customers have already received millions of dollars in gift cards from the other products in our program. The Electronics category is a natural extension and we are delighted to offer our customers more trade-in options.”
So regardless of where you picked up your electronics, you can now visit Amazon’s trade in store to see the value of some of your older electronics that are lying around, print one label, and put them all in one box to send out.
