You might recall when we told you about this little game system called Onlive (relive here). Well now you can preorder the much-anticipated game, Batman: Arkham City from Onlive for just $49.99 or $34.99 if you are a Playpack subscriber. For those of you not in the know, Playpack subscribers pay $9.99/month for unlimited access to 80 games, as well as a 30% discount off all other OnLive products and games.

‘Batman: Arkham City’ will be released for OnLive on the same day as it’s released on other systems. It will be available on October 18, 2011. The game, which is from publisher Warner Bros. Interactive and developer Rocksteady Studios, is the sequel to ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’, which has won several ‘Game of the Year’ awards. It is an open world action game that will be available to play for OnLive with either a keyboard and mouse combination or an OnLive gamepad. It’s a single player game that makes use of Unreal Engine 3.
Many new characters will be appearing in this ‘Batman: Arkham City’, as well as some characters from ‘Arkham Asylum’. You can expect to see The Penguin, Solomon Grundy, The Joker, Catwoman (a playable character), Mr. Freeze, Riddler and many more.
