For years now we’ve been hearing about the Big Screen version of “Wonder Woman” almost being to the point of casting… but it never happening.  Disappointment after disappointment as we’ve seen the hottest of Hollywood’s leading ladies (Jolie, Garner, Fox, etc.) dig-in… then pass… on the Amazonian Princess in action.  So Who?  Who can possibly take over the role that helped so many young men through puberty one box of kleenex at a time?  Nobody… on the big screen that is.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news today that Warner Bros. Television is developing a modern-day reboot of the Golden Lassoe’d stunner to instead be a weekly series on Network Television.  They have not gotten to the point of finding that special Super-someone just yet, but David E. Kelly (Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, The Practice) has been brought in to write and produce the project.  Good new for our loyal DC fans (or fans of the original sexy super)?  Hell Yes!  While it’s not quite silver screen… it’s still something.  Something that we may actually see happen!!!

A whole new generation of young men… finding their manhood thanks to the golden-chested Amazonian Superheroine.
