Here’s a round-up on the music biz..

Taylor Swift, Million Units:  Over a million people picked up Taylor Swift’s album “Speak Now” this past week.  Clearly that many people don’t have taste in music.  We wonder if John Mayer picked up a copy?

Ke$ha Hitting The 100:  Her new single “We R Who We R” (What does this chick have against spelling?) will hit at the top of the hot 100.  Becoming only the 17th song to do so.  It knocks off Far East Movement‘s “Like a G6” to claim the spot.

Rihanna Love’s Liars:  Her single, “Love the Way You Lie (Part II),” leaked online today.  The collaboration with Eminem is the sequel to “Love the Way You Lie” which was featured on Eminem’s album “Recovery”.   The new song is set to be on Rihanna’s upcoming album “Loud”  which comes out on November 16th.   Click here for the song.

President Bush vs. Kanye, Round 2:  Former President George W. Bush responds to the famous Kanye outburst following Hurricane Katrina.  In an interview set to air Monday on the Today show, Bush finally responds to Kanye’s criticism.  Apparently George has no issue with black people, just  Kanye.

Reba’s Still the Queen of Country:  Showing that she still has staying power, Reba McEntire notched her 59th top ten single this week.  Her first single to earn that designation was in 1980.  Having a career that spans 30 years is impressive.  And still looking hot isn’t bad either.  “Turn On the Radio” introduces McEntire’s 26th studio album, “All the Women I Am,” due Tuesday (Nov. 9). The set includes a cover of Beyonce‘s 2008 No. 3 Billboard Hot 100 hit, “If I Were a Boy”.  This isn’t the first time Reba’s covered a pop song, previously covering Kelly Clarkson’s “Because of You”.
