The group is broken down into the Top 12 males and females and include Brett Loewenstern, Laina Alaina, Jacob Lusk, James Durbin, Scotty McCreery; Thia Megia; Ashthon Jones; Jordan Dorsey; Stefano Langone; Julie Zorrilla; Lauren Turner; Jovany Barreto; Tim Halperin, Haley Reinhart; Tatynisa Wilson; Robbie Rosen; Rachel Zevita; Pia Toscano; Paul McDonald; Naima Adedapo;  Kendra Chantelle; Karen Rodriguez; Casey Abrams and Clint Jun Gamboa.

Early fan favorite Chris Medina didn’t make the cut, but reports are that he caught the eye of Rodney Jerkins, who has produced songs for stars such as Michael Jackson and Britney Spears. Jerkins wrote a song for Medina, who was a fan favorite due to his  tale of caring for his fiance, who was injured in a car crash two months before their scheduled wedding. The song, “What Are Words,” and the video debut today.

Need to get your Idol vote on.  Apparently you are now going to be able to vote online via Facebook.   Facebook fans are able to vote up to 50 times via the social networking site.  More details on that here.
