Reported by our friends at CNN.com. Intel looks to up the ante by acquiring McAfee for a staggering $48 dollars a share, paid oh in cash. Intel is the world’s largest chip maker, and one has to wonder what the benefit of this move is. We think it will lead to a more secure computing experience, which we all know is the biggest issue that computers face. This comes on the heals of Intel agreeing to purchase Texas Instruments cable modem line.
