ABCNews is reporting that Itunes will now begin to offer the music of The Beatles. The Beatles were one of the long-term holdouts that did not feature their music as a part of the iTunes catalog.
The collection will feature 13 remastered albums as well as a digital box set entitled “Beatles Box Set” for download beginning today (as in now).
“We love the Beatles and are honored and thrilled to welcome them to iTunes,” Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in a news release. “It has been a long and winding road to get here. Thanks to the Beatles and EMI, we are now realizing a dream we’ve had since we launched iTunes 10 years ago.”
