This is Skinamaxes…I mean Cinemaxes first foray into an original scripted ongoing series meant to propel them into a network that offers more than movies that were just on HBO or their soft-core late night offerings.  This is a high quality show that places Cinemax much closer to its big brother (HBO) and in a better position to compete against those other premium channels (Showtime & Starz).

Strike Back is a compelling show…Think 24 meets Zane’s Sex Chronicles.  It focuses on two members of a classified intelligence agency known as Section 20 who span the globe in search of…get ready…terrorists planning a major attack.  You have the same plot twists and turns and government conspiracies that you would expect from Special Forces drama with a small wink wink nudge nudge that pays homage to 24.
