While I hope it isn’t true, one of the most beloved characters in TV cartoons was killed off this past Sunday. Brian Griffin, the liberal, white, martini loving dog on Fox’s “The Family Guy” went out like so many other dogs tend to do…Getting hit by a car while playing street hockey.
The show has been known to take on some deep subjects in a tongue in cheek manner, but this is the first time the show has seen a main character like this be removed because of death. While it remains to be seen if it is a permanent thing or something that Seth MacFarlane did to test our viewing sensibilities, Fox put together a small memorial in his memory.
