In between serving time for weapons and getting popped for drugs in Los Angeles, Rapper T.I. helped Atlanta police talk a jumper down from a building.
T.I. (Clifford Harris) was in the area shooting (no, not guns) a music video when he heard of the drama via the radio. Claiming to have felt the calling to help out, he recorded a short video message that was sent to the would be jumper. Shortly after that, the jumper stood down (can anyone say free tickets? Gigga Yeah!).
The rapper was seen talking to the man shortly before he was taken to the hospital (the jumper, not T.I.). According to reports T.I. gave the man a pep talk and went on his way. Police were very thankful for his involvement.
Talk about being in the right place at the right time. It would have been very apropos if the guy had still jumped. I wonder if T.I. would have claimed he was “Dead and Gone“.
