I just finally got used to Meredith Vieira enough that I almost forgot about… what’s her name?… oh yeah, Katie Couric (just kidding… LOVE her). Now our friends at The New York Post’s Page Six are saying that Meredith is seriously considering walking away from her early morning post on the “Today Show” to spend more time with her family… and Couric’s contract at CBS is up at the end of May, lending speculation that she may return to her big cushy morning couch.
Okay… there are a lot of maybe scenarios still in play with this story, I’ll give you that. And to be honest… I really enjoyed watching them both every morning. Nothing says “Good Morning WhiteGlossy” quite like the cheerful faces at the “Today Show”. Meredith… Katie… both are great, and both will end up doing something fantastic! Hell… it could be that none of this happens and we all go on about our lives as if nothing was ever even said.
But for GOD’s SAKE… DON”T LET KATHIE LEE ANYWHERE NEAR THE MORNING!!!!!
