With all the cloud storage out there, I’m not really sure the need for a thumb drive exists anymore. But then I saw this and I thought, this is a thumb drive I would use more often.
Coming in many sizes and for under ten bucks, it is a nice conversation piece for sure. And it is a functional piece of equipment. The only big issue is that it is really fricking hard to transform. I snapped half the tail off the first time I did it. And I can imagine that a leg would come off pretty easy too.
That all being said though, if you are looking for something cool to get the nerd in your life, you could do a lot worse than this. As long as it is used as decoration and not an everyday device.
