Here’s a quick look at what is hitting the big screen this week.
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps: In a follow-up to the original look behind Wall street greed, Micheal Douglas reprises his role as Gordan Gekko. This one has a more family angle as Gekko tries to befriend and manipulate his daughter’s fiancée played by Shia Lebeouf. Doubtful this one is a good as the original, but it got some hype at some of the film festivals. Oliver Stone is directing, so you know it will be solid.
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole: Some lame movie about owls.
You Again: A comedy starring Kristen Bell (so hot), Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver, and Betty White (we love you). This movie is about high-school rivals getting even with each other across two generations.
Here’s a quick look at what we are checking out on Netflix this weekend.
Eggshellwhite:
True Blood Season 2, Disc 4: This season is so much better than the first. Cliffhanger ended the last disc with a suicide bomber wanting to take out a bunch of vampires.
Burn After Reading: Actually revisiting this one since I saw it in the theater. It was really funny and I know that it will make me laugh again. The Coen brothers rock.
WhiteGlossy:
Tru Blood Season 1, Disc 1: Fine… I’m going to finally give into the hype and see what this thing is all about.
