Wal-mart just announced it will start offering its own branded wireless plans beginning next week. Reports are that it will cost $45 for unlimited talk and text with a charge of $25 for each additional line. The service will run on T-Mobiles network.
In the past year, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has been the exclusive seller of the Straight Talk service, which runs on the Verizon Wireless network. Wal-Mart is also trying out another service from Sprint Nextel Corp.
