“Hey You Guuuuuuyyyyyyyyssssss” guess what I stumbled across this morning?  Only one of my favorite movies of ALL TIME, being re-released this November as “The Goonies 25th Anniversary Collection DVD/Blu-ray box set” ($32-ish pre-order) including tons of killer stuff (reprinted magazines, board games, etc… see below).  Assuming you missed the 25th Anniversary gathering in Astoria Oregon, then this is your best chance to relive the amazing adventures of the most rag-tag, misfit, action, comedy group ever imagined by Steven Spielberg.  I’ve personally owned the regular DVD of this movie for years… and have maliciously addicted my kids and all of their friends to it (all part of my master plan!!!).  Of course in June of 1985 “PG” was an entirely different thing, evident by the few choice Damn’s & Shit’s you’ll hear.  But what’s wrong with a little cussing here and their dammit?  Fucking prudes!

So… put your order in now (I foresee this one being a HUGE seller…. especially for all that cool stuff at such a low price) and we’ll all sit down simultaneously across the country for the biggest “same-time” screening of any movie ever!!!!  Mikey, Brand, Chunk, Mouth, Data, Sloth, Andy, Stef, the Fratellis & Rosarita (all from memory bitches) are all waiting patiently for you to fire-up the old Blu-Ray and check them out in Hi-Def wonder.

PS – If you’ve never watched the deleted scenes, it’s a must.  Data’s comment “the octopus was very scary” on the beach when reunited with their families will all make sense.

Here’s Warner Brothers official synopsis, more detail as to what is on the DVD and what else is in the box:
