Warning…Might contain spoilers.
We watched Dinner for Schmucks over the weekend. Our thoughts? The movie was decent. It contained the usual sets of misadventures that leads you to the finale where the main character (Paul Rudd) realizes he has been leading life that wasn’t truly him, and everyone kisses and makes up.
While this movie had its moments, I think it could have benefited from an R rating. Might we that we are crude, but sometimes cursing just makes things funny.
There are a few scenes that steal the movie, and those include Steve Carrel and Zach Galifianakis.
The end verdict is, if you’ve already seen Inception or Salt, and are looking for something to watch, this wouldn’t be a bad choice. Other than that, I would wait until it hit the Blu-Ray market.
