Yeah, we know we were a little harsh last week when we announced that Dwayne Johnson was starring in the sequel to the 2008 movie Journey to the Center of the Earth. But it looks like the studio is trying to make the sequel much better. Announced today was the addition of Micheal Caine to the cast.
This seems to be no bit part either with Caine set to film several action sequences and have a major part in the movie. Caine has most recently been seen in Christopher Nolan‘s epic movie Inception as well as Nolan’s Batman movies.
For the time being we will give this sequel a pass, due to the addition of Caine. Will we see it in the theaters? Doubtful unless we get stuck babysitting.
