We finally got around to catching The Town, and here is our review.  Warning, may contain spoilers!

Four guys from the Boston suburb of Charlestown are serial bank robbers.  Along the way, one of the (Ben Affleck) grows a backbone and wants to get out of the game.   Of course there are the usual antics as the rebel bank robber (there always is one in the group) tries to stop his compadre from leaving.  Boy meets girl while robbing bank, falls for girl, girl finds out he is a crook, and everyone is chased by the FBI.   In the end, half of the group gets popped randomly, the bad boy goes out like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and the guy with a change of heart walks away to lead a changed life, after getting revenge on the people that have wronged him.

We will say this, the movie was well-directed.  But the acting was a bit sub par.  There were scenes where the fake boston accent was so thick I had no clue what was being said.   All in all, this one should have been a renter and not worth all the hype.
