For the upcoming reboot of the Spiderman franchise. Peter Parker will have parents. Albeit parents that leave him an orphan and to a life destined to be one bad ass super hero.
Announced today, Campbell Scott and Julianne Nicholson have joined the cast to play Peter Parker’s parents. Also joining the cast is Irrfan Khan (of 
Slumdog Millionaire) who will play the villain Van Atter. Kahn joins Rhys Ifans who has signed on to play the other villain in the film.
Spiderman 4, which is being directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield as Spiderman/Peter Parker is set to come out in 2012.
