Yes, the plural of that was correct. As there always is, Apple rumors are gearing up in anticipation to the iWorld meetings on January 26th. The word around tech world is that Apple is taking direct aim at the Kindle Fire which had a very impressive December in its own rights.
Signs point to Apple introducing two new iPads in January. One will be a more entry-level iPad with a starting price point of around $200. While the other will be a revamped version on the iPad 2 geared more towards high-end users. Instead of the rumored 7 inch version of the iPad that was floating around, both will more than likely still boast a 9.7 inch, 2,048 by 1,536 pixels screen and be powered by Apple’s faster quad-core A6 processors.
Stay tuned as we get more info on this.
