Many of the most amazing shows on TV have had a very short lifespan of 4 or 5 seasons. “Lost” only had 6. And on rare occasion you’ll find a show breaking records all over the place by getting past 9 seasons (Friends, Seinfeld, ER, etc.).
What the newest megaTV hit to break into the 9-season club? Sponge Bob Square Pants. That’s right… absorbent & yellow & porous & 9 seasons old is he. (Here comes the sarcasm) Can we all let out a collective deep sigh of relief across the nation? We were so fearful that this little guy would go away! 5 year olds & college-age stoners are rejoicing everywhere!
