Here’s a look at what is hitting the big screen (and our little screen) over the weekend.

Morning Glory:  Hottie Rachel McAdams (Side-note… WhiteGlossy hearts Rachel McAdams!!!) plays a producer thrust into a last place station trying to make up in the ratings.  Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton lend their talents as the TV anchors in this.

Skyline: Wait for it….Aliens come to earth and must deal with the likes of Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith…Oh wait, that is the plot to Independence Day.  Which this movie feels a lot like.  It’s been 14 years since that movie, maybe everyone forgot about it.  In this one, a bunch of aliens come down and destroy/terrorize Los Angeles.

Unstoppable:  “Come on Ride The Train, And Ride It..Woo Woo. ”  Quad City DJs reference aside, this one stars Denzel Washington and Chris Pine as they valiantly fight to save a small town from a runaway train.  Speaking of that…Soul Asylum has something to say about it as well.

And now here is what we’ve got at home this weekend from Netflix.

Eggshell:

Entourage, Season 1, Disc 2:  So far I’m kind of “Eh” on this show.  I better see a boob soon or I may bail.

From Paris with Love:  A roided out looking John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in this movie that is sure to have a ton of explosions.

WhiteGlossy:

The Karate Kid: The New One

Splice: A little past Halloween… but it’s never a bad time for a fun Sci-Fi Horror Movie!
