Here are some of the anticipated new releases on Blu-ray and DVD this week.

Kick-Ass:  Nick Cage continues to try to become  a box office draw  again, in this quasi comedy/action film based on the comic of the same name.  Might be a reason why we have never heard of either.  Worth renting, but not worth putting near the top of your list.

Heros: Season 4:  If only to watch what you missed after you stopped watching it every Monday night, like the rest of the world.  One of those shows that had great promise, but lacked momentum of any sort.  If you are going to throw “Lost” like drama, at least make sure it is as well written as “Lost” was.  Sadly, this show never was.

The Breakfast Club: 25th Anniversary Edition:  Every teen slackers favorite movie, loaded with an all-star cast.  How can you not like this movie?  If you don’t have it in your collection, now is a great time to get it!

Bull Durham:  Another great classic sports movie.  Tim Robbins is at his best in this film.  One of those classic movies from not that long ago that still has great staying power.

Space Balls:  Probably Mel Brooks second best movie behind Young Frankenstein, join Lonestar, Barf, & Yogurt as they take on the evil Dark Helmet.
