Carolina Panthers second round choice and former Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen signed a four-year contract on Tuesday.
One of the high-profile quarterbacks from this years draft and a one time top ten pick projection had the bottom fall out and lasted until the second round. He will start the season behind assumed starter Matt Moore and 2nd sting Hunter Cantwell.
This leaves Sam Bradford and Tim Tebow unsigned as far as the notable quarterbacks from the most recent draft class. Reports from Rams camp state that a deal should be struck by Thursday with Bradford, the top pick in the 2010 NFL draft. Tebow, recently signed a deal to be Jockey’s spokesman also had the most popular jersey for sales from April 22nd through June 30th, but currently remains unsigned.
