News today is that “Macho Man” Randy Savage died in a car accident. He was 58 years old.
According to reports, Savage suffered a heart attack while driving his jeep in Florida. His car left the roadway and struck a tree. His wife, who was a passenger at the time, suffered minor injuries.
Savage, best known for his late 80’s and 90’s wrestling heroics with the WWE (formally WWF) took battle with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, The Ultimate Warrior. Savage rose to the WWE (WWF) title at Wrestlemania IV where he won a 14 man tournament to win the title over Ted DiBiase.
