Here is our weekly look at what is hitting the shelves on Blu-ray and DVD.

The Karate Kid:  At risk of sounding like a nerd….Oh what the heck, I’m going for it.  This isn’t the Karate Kid.  It is the Kung Fu Kid.  Sorry, some classics shouldn’t be remade.  There is only one Daniel Larusso  and Mr. Miagi.  Frankly, this movie can wax on, wax off my nuts.

Beauty and the Beast:  I had a few relationships like this.  She was pretty ugly.  Disney classic now on Blu-ray.

The Exorcist:  The classic demonic movie.  Get green barf spewed at you in high def.

The Last of The MohicansDaniel Day Lewis and Madeleine Stowe in this period piece set in the French and Indian Wars.

Grindhouse Special Edition: Need we say more?  Together for the first time the Rodriguez/Tarantino Double Feature – GRINDHOUSE is back and better than ever!

A Nightmare on Elm Street:  The remake of the horror classic.  Just was eh for us in the theaters.  But if you like the franchise, this one’s for you.

Splice:  I don’t even know what to say about this movie.  Scientists won’t take no for an answer, and their Frankenstein experiment goes down the shitter.

Mad Max:  Before Mel Gibson went crazy.  Or was it??

The Human Centipede:  I’m only mentioning this because Daniel Tosh gave such a glowing review of it on his show earlier this year.

RoboCop Triology:  What do you get when you cross a cop with a toaster?  RoboCop of course.
