In a great new update to the Netflix iPhone app… they have now enabled it to work with “video out” (iPhone 4 & 4th Gen iPod only). What does this mean? If you are one of the many people who are constantly hearing about how great Netflix Instant Streaming is on the TV, but don’t have a Roku or PS3 or Xbox360 or new AppleTV (or many of the other devices capable of streaming Netflix) you can now simply hook your iPhone4 up to the TV and stream it straight from there. BAM! Instant Streaming!!! Your cell-phone just become your major media box for the home entertainment system. Yeah… kinda snuck up on you didn’t it.
